BBQ Courses

BBQ Courses by Oliver Woolnough –

Olly Image Oli deservedly won the Weber Fan of the Month (FOTM) for March 2017. Through his Twitter and Facebook channels you can see the fantastic BBQ food Oli produces on a daily basis. He has recently started running BBQ courses where you can learn all about BBQ kit and equipment, fuel, cooking techniques and selecting the best food and produce. A brilliant hands-on experience from a real expert BBQ enthusiast.

UK BBQ School –

Marcus Image In additional to running multiple websites, which include food blogging (including some fantastic food photography), reviews on BBQ equipment, running a YouTube channel and producing the fantastic UK BBQ Mag, Marcus also runs BBQ courses. I could not think of a better person to run one of these courses, so if you are looking to learn how to BBQ or generally improve your BBQ skills you wouldn’t go far wrong booking a session with Marcus.

Where to Buy

Riverside Garden Centre –

Riverside Logo If you are looking to buy BBQ items online you won’t go far wrong using these guys. Over the past few months I have bought the Weber Go Anywhere portable BBQ together with numerous accessories and also briquettes and charcoal. Every time their service has been fantastic, and on the one occasion something did go amiss (not their fault – down to the courier), I managed to easily get through to someone who was able to help. Really highly recommended.

Smokewood Shack –

Smokewoodshack Logo If you are looking for wood for your smoker or BBQ this is a great place to buy from. They supply everything from smoking planks, wood chips, wood chunks through to smoking dust and pellets. I have only used them a couple of times but on both occasions, the delivery was great and the quality also.

BBQ World –

BBQ World Logo I have started to buy most my fuel from BBQ World. My main fuel are the Australian Heat Beads and they seem to offer it at the cheapest prices I can find on the web. Occasionally, they will also have additional money off vouchers. They are also very competitive on the price of other briquettes from Weber and also other manufacturers. Delivery is always incredibly quick and free if you spend over £50.

BBQ Gourmet –

BBQ Gourmet Logo One of the key elements when either grilling or smoking your food is to use a great rub. The team at BBQ Gourmet have a massive range of rubs and sauces. Their extensive range include the best rubs from the USA and all around the world. Richard and his team provide a great service and I would highly recommend these guys for all your rubs and sauces.

Secret Cellar –

Secret Cellar Logo I really enjoy a good glass of wine to accompany my BBQ. If you are the same you should take a look. All the wines have been selected personally by the owners, and many have their own personal story. They have a great chat feature on the site and Jon is always keen to help with pairings or general advice. Give them a try.
